They will be called the Wicked Land, a people always under the wrath of the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 1:5 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>5&nbsp;<\/sup>You will see it with your own eyes and say, \u2018Great is the Lord\u2013even beyond the borders of Israel!\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 1:6 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>6&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cA son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due me? If I am a master, where is the respect due me?\u201d says the Lord Almighty. \u201cIt is you, O priests, who show contempt for my name. \u201cBut you ask, \u2018How have we shown contempt for your name?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 1:7 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>7&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cYou place defiled food on my altar. \u201cBut you ask, \u2018How have we defiled you?\u2019 \u201cBy saying that the Lord\u2019s table is contemptible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 1:8 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>8&nbsp;<\/sup>When you bring blind animals for sacrifice, is that not wrong? When you sacrifice crippled or diseased animals, is that not wrong? Try offering them to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you?\u201d says the Lord Almighty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 1:9 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>9&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cNow implore God to be gracious to us. With such offerings from your hands, will he accept you?\u201d\u2013says the Lord Almighty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 1:10 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>10&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cOh, that one of you would shut the temple doors, so that you would not light useless fires on my altar! I am not pleased with you,\u201d says the Lord Almighty, \u201cand I will accept no offering from your hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 1:11 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>11&nbsp;<\/sup>My name will be great among the nations, from the rising to the setting of the sun. In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to my name, because my name will be great among the nations,\u201d says the Lord Almighty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 1:12 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>12&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cBut you profane it by saying of the Lord\u2019s table, \u2018It is defiled,\u2019 and of its food, \u2018It is contemptible.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 1:13 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>13&nbsp;<\/sup>And you say, \u2018What a burden!\u2019 and you sniff at it contemptuously,\u201d says the Lord Almighty. \u201cWhen you bring injured, crippled or diseased animals and offer them as sacrifices, should I accept them from your hands?\u201d says the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 1:14 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>14&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cCursed is the cheat who has an acceptable male in his flock and vows to give it, but then sacrifices a blemished animal to the Lord. For I am a great king,\u201d says the Lord Almighty, \u201cand my name is to be feared among the nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h.mf0dk545rozg_l\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/www-kmi2-net\/biblical-teaching\/7k-bible\/7k-bible-old-testament\/7k-malchi#h.mf0dk545rozg\"><\/a>Malachi Chapter 2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:1 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>1&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cAnd now this admonition is for you, O priests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:2 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>2&nbsp;<\/sup>If you do not listen, and if you do not set your heart to honor my name,\u201d says the Lord Almighty, \u201cI will send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not set your heart to honor me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:3 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>3&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cBecause of you I will rebuke your descendants; I will spread on your faces the offal from your festival sacrifices, and you will be carried off with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:4 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>4&nbsp;<\/sup>And you will know that I have sent you this admonition so that my covenant with Levi may continue,\u201d says the Lord Almighty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:5 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>5&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cMy covenant was with him, a covenant of life and peace, and I gave them to him; this called for reverence and he revered me and stood in awe of my name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:6 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>6&nbsp;<\/sup>True instruction was in his mouth and nothing false was found on his lips. He walked with me in peace and uprightness, and turned many from sin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:7 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>7&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cFor the lips of a priest ought to preserve knowledge, and from his mouth men should seek instruction\u2013because he is the messenger of the Lord Almighty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:8 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>8&nbsp;<\/sup>But you have turned from the way and by your teaching have caused many to stumble; you have violated the covenant with Levi,\u201d says the Lord Almighty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:9 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>9&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cSo I have caused you to be despised and humiliated before all the people, because you have not followed my ways but have shown partiality in matters of the law.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:10 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>10&nbsp;<\/sup>Have we not all one Father? Did not one God create us? Why do we profane the covenant of our fathers by breaking faith with one another?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:11 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>11&nbsp;<\/sup>Judah has broken faith. A detestable thing has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem: Judah has desecrated the sanctuary the Lord loves, by marrying the daughter of a foreign god.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:12 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>12&nbsp;<\/sup>As for the man who does this, whoever he may be, may the Lord cut him off from the tents of Jacob\u2013even though he brings offerings to the Lord Almighty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:13 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>13&nbsp;<\/sup>Another thing you do: You flood the Lord\u2019s altar with tears. You weep and wail because he no longer pays attention to your offerings or accepts them with pleasure from your hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:14 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>14&nbsp;<\/sup>You ask, \u201cWhy?\u201d It is because the Lord is acting as the witness between you and the wife of your youth, because you have broken faith with her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:15 (NIV84)-M<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>15 And did not God make [you and your wife] one [flesh] (one-complete-person together in marriage)? And why did God make the male and female one-complete-person joined together in marriage? It is because God is seeking to gain human offspring from the union of man and wife within marriage. Therefore, take heed to yourselves, and let no one deal treacherously by breaking faith in their (marriage union) with the wife of their youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:16 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>16&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cI hate divorce,\u201d says the Lord God of Israel, \u201cand I hate a man\u2019s covering himself with violence as well as with his garment,\u201d says the Lord Almighty. So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 2:17 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>17&nbsp;<\/sup>You have wearied the Lord with your words. \u201cHow have we wearied him?\u201d you ask. By saying, \u201cAll who do evil are good in the eyes of the Lord, and he is pleased with them\u201d or \u201cWhere is the God of justice?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h.uhf1ch6z5i11_l\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/www-kmi2-net\/biblical-teaching\/7k-bible\/7k-bible-old-testament\/7k-malchi#h.uhf1ch6z5i11\"><\/a>Malachi Chapter 3<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 3:1 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>1&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cSee, I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,\u201d says the Lord Almighty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 3:2 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>2&nbsp;<\/sup>But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner\u2019s fire or a launderer\u2019s soap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 3:3 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>3&nbsp;<\/sup>He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the Lord will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 3:4 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>4&nbsp;<\/sup>and the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the Lord, as in days gone by, as in former years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 3:5 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>5&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cSo I will come near to you for judgment. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive aliens of justice, but do not fear me,\u201d says the Lord Almighty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 3:6 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>6&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cI the Lord do not change. So you, O descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 3:7 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>7&nbsp;<\/sup>Ever since the time of your forefathers you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,\u201d says the Lord Almighty. \u201cBut you ask, \u2018How are we to return?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 3:8 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>8&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cWill a man rob God? Yet you rob me. \u201cBut you ask, \u2018How do we rob you?\u2019 \u201cIn tithes and offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 3:9 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>9&nbsp;<\/sup>You are under a curse\u2013the whole nation of you\u2013because you are robbing me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 3:10 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>10&nbsp;<\/sup>Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,\u201d says the Lord Almighty, \u201cand see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 3:11 (NASB)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>11&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cThen I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast&nbsp;<em>its grapes,<\/em>\u201d says the LORD of hosts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 3:12 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>12&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cThen all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,\u201d says the Lord Almighty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 3:13 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>13&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cYou have said harsh things against me,\u201d says the Lord. \u201cYet you ask, \u2018What have we said against you?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 3:14 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>14&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cYou have said, \u2018It is futile to serve God. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored his name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Malachi 3:17 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>17&nbsp;<\/sup>\u201cThey will be mine,\u201d says the Lord Almighty, \u201cin the day when I make up my treasured possession.
