You weep and wail because he no longer pays attention to your offerings or accepts them with pleasure from your hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Malachi 2:14 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 14 <\/sup>You ask, \u201cWhy?\u201d It is because the Lord is acting as the witness between you and the wife of your youth, because you have broken faith with her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Malachi 2:15 (NIV84)-M<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 15 And did not God make [you and your wife] one [flesh] (one-complete-person together in marriage)? And why did God make the male and female one-complete-person joined together in marriage? It is because God is seeking to gain human offspring from the union of man and wife within marriage. Therefore, take heed to yourselves, and let no one deal treacherously by breaking faith in their (marriage union) with the wife of their youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Malachi 2:16 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 16 <\/sup>\u201cI hate divorce,\u201d says the Lord God of Israel, \u201cand I hate a man\u2019s covering himself with violence as well as with his garment,\u201d says the Lord Almighty.
