I then, as Paul\u2013an old man and now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus\u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Philemon 1:10 (NKJV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>10&nbsp;<\/sup>I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten&nbsp;<em>while<\/em>&nbsp;in my chains,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Philemon 1:11 (AMP)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>11&nbsp;<\/sup>Once he was unprofitable to you, but now he is indeed profitable to you as well as to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Philemon 1:12 (NKJV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>12&nbsp;<\/sup>I am sending him back. You therefore receive him, that is, my own heart,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Philemon 1:13 (NKJV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>13&nbsp;<\/sup>whom I wished to keep with me, that on your behalf he might minister to me in my chains for the gospel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Philemon 1:14 (NASB)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>14&nbsp;<\/sup>but without your consent I did not want to do anything, so that your goodness would not be, in effect, by compulsion but of your own free will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Philemon 1:15 (NASB)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>15&nbsp;<\/sup>For perhaps he was for this reason separated&nbsp;<em>from you<\/em>&nbsp;for a while, that you would have him back forever,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Philemon 1:16 (CJB)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>16&nbsp;<\/sup>no longer as a slave but as more than a slave, as a dear brother. And that he is, especially to me.
