Christian Farmers in Court After Being Punished for Views on Marriage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It should be noted that because a Christian couple supported heterosexual marriage between a man and a woman that they were banned from the local farmer’s market and unable to sell their produce. This is punishment for not embracing [Liberal-Transqueer] ideologies that go against biblical truth. This is one example of how liberals will cancel anyone who does agree with their liberal insanity. <\/em>In the end-times the coming one-world ruler will fully cancel anyone who does not comply with his godless dictates. People will not be able to buy or sell without being chipped (marked by this one-world ruler). Already the world is going in the direction of cancelling those who do not agree with liberal deception and liberal false doctrines. The same is going to soon happen on a worldwide scale and it will be difficult to escape unless advanced preparations have been made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The owners of Country Mill Farms in Michigan, who were banned from their local farmers market in 2016 over their Christian viewpoint on marriage, are having their case heard in a federal court this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steve and Bridget Tennes operate their orchard in Charlotte, and they host weddings on their farm. The Catholic family used to set up a booth at the East Lansing Farmer\u2019s Market to sell their produce, but officials decided to punish them because they believe marriage is between a man and a woman. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attorneys with Alliance Defending Freedom <\/a>(ADF) say city officials in East Lansing have been targeting the Tennes family after they made a comment about marriage in a Facebook post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll of a sudden I felt like we couldn\u2019t even believe what we wanted to believe. We had to be quiet,\u201d explained Bridget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CBN News <\/a>reported that the family fought back in 2017 and a federal judge issued a preliminary order forcing the city to allow the Tennes family to participate in the farmers market. The judge also said the city most likely violated their religious and free speech rights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But East Lansing Mayor Mark Meadows remarked that the temporary ruling only covered the 2017 market season. Meadows<\/a> also said the city opposes the Tennes\u2019 \u201ccorporate decision-making,\u201d not their religious beliefs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet city officials asserted that the Tennes\u2019 expression conflicted with East Lansing\u2019s marriage views and its new market policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The policy requires vendors to agree to comply with the city\u2019s \u201cHuman Relations Ordinance and its public policy against discrimination while at the market and as a general business practice.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s illegal for anyone to \u201cmake a statement which indicates that an individual\u2019s patronage or presence at a place of public accommodation is unwelcome or unacceptable because of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression\u2026\u201d among other designated classes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the Tennes family says they plan to operate their farm the same way they live out their faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur family farm here is very personal to us,\u201d said Steve. <\/a>\u201cOne of the things we really enjoy about our family farm here is (that) we are able to raise our five children here at the farm in accordance with our faith.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added, \u201cThis isn\u2019t just about our ability to sell at the farmer\u2019s market. It\u2019s really about every American\u2019s right to make a living and not have to worry about being punished by the government.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steve and Bridget are military veterans and hope their case will help preserve the freedoms <\/a>of other Americans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
