Principles for Living (Links)
Principles for living deals with the fact that God’s Word (the Bible) has principles which can be applied to every aspect of life. There is natural wisdom for managing finances and for marriage and for child discipline and for every topic related to natural living on earth. There are also spiritual principles which show mankind how they can please God and qualify for eternal life. There are both spiritual and natural principles found within the bible to guide humans during their time on earth and which also can prepare them for eternal life in the life to come. Most of the natural wisdom of the Bible is found within the Jewish Torah (Old Testament of the Bible) and the spiritual wisdom related to eternal things is found within the New Testament of the Bible. Having both natural and spiritual principles means that the Bible has something like a right and left-hand punch to cover all related topics for living (both natural and spiritual). This is important because humans are both natural and spiritual beings and they need instruction for living as related to both the natural and spiritual side of things.
